I love sewing and making something beautiful and functional out of interesting fabrics and embellishments. I'm proud that each and every PrachPurse is a totally unique, and wearable, work of art.
The idea for PrachPurse began years ago; while working in the corporate world I spent a good portion of my free time making handbags as gifts for friends and family as a way to exercise my artisitc inclinations. I was continually getting very enthusiastic and spirited responses to the bags, and after getting enough requests for custom handbags, I fixed my sights on making a career out of what is truly a labor of love for me. Though I have been sewing since I was a child, I went on to study fashion design in San Diego to hone my design and patternmaking skills, and long story short, PrachPurse sprang into existence in 2006! I am happy to be doing something I'm very passionate about, and I believe it shows in the creations.
